Introduction
We’re looking for a senior commercial executive to help us drive the growth of our newly established Intelligent Services Business Unit (ISBU) which brings together Cambridge Consultants’ (CC) artificial intelligence and digital service expertise. This is a great opportunity for an experienced business development leader who has demonstrated their success across AI and digital technologies.
The ISBU supports clients across all markets to create game-changing people-centric services. We develop leading-edge artificial intelligence, integrate with CC’s breadth of deeptech expertise and deliver into live deployment.
Our team supports clients globally to set their business strategy for AI and digital services, to accelerate their research initiatives and to develop and deliver new intelligent services. As the commercial leader for our team, you will guide us as we ride the next wave of demand to create inspirational new intelligent services for our clients.
Role description
- Take overall responsibility for sales, marketing and offering development for CC’s ISBU working in collaboration with CC vertical-market teams and corporate marketing
- Working with the ISBU leadership team, develop and deliver our strategy and ensure our offerings, market messages and go-to-market efforts support the delivery of our strategy
- Provide personal leadership and accountability for account management, new client bids and marketing performance
- Working as part of the company-wide senior commercial community, establish and instil good practice in our team for sales pipeline management, collateral development, and bid-teaming
- Provide guidance and input to our technology leaders and technology roadmap based on market intelligence and client insights
Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in business development leadership roles
- A strong track record of success in consultative selling – ideally in a professional services context
- Familiarity with, and excitement about, emerging AI and digital technologies
- Experience of developing compelling offerings, thought-leadership positions and go-to-market initiatives
