Introduction summary
 

Cambridge Consultants is a technology services business with over 800 employees globally. Our UK based Finance Team is responsible for the accounting across the entire company.

We’re now expanding the Finance Team to support the growing needs of the business by looking for a Financial Accountant.

 

Responsibilities

  • Treasury management (FX)
    • Budgeting of forex exposure for the year and subsequently reforecasting periodically during the year
    • Monthly reporting of forex inflows/outflows to group reporting team
    • Ensuring proper accounting for FX impacts in books of all Cambridge entities.
    • Co-ordinating with other functions within Cambridge entities and centralized treasury team of Capgemini.
  • APAC regional controlling (Singapore and Japan)
    • Responsible for managing Singapore and Japan legal entities by working with external accounting firms and regional management team.
    • Managing  financial assistant based locally in Singapore.
    • Responsible for group quarterly reporting to Capgemini for APAC entities
    • Overseeing the compliance and assurance area for the region in co-ordination with external accountants.
  • Internal transformation initiatives
    • To work closely with CFO in identification and execution of internal transformation initiatives to enable smart ways of functioning and overcoming current challenges (project-based approach)
  • Intercompany area (group transactions)
    • Responsible for managing group transactions reconciliation  with support of team on monthly basis.
    • To develop good understanding of data flows of group transaction within multiple reporting tools (BFC, ICS 2.0)  to avoid any singificant intercompany differences
  • Team support and  adhoc analysis :
    • Supporting other team members in specific areas of month and quarter close reporting for UK and US entities
    • Supporting CFO in adhoc management reporting analytics.

 

Requirements

To be suitable for this role, you should have:

  • University degree. Alternatively with relevant finance exposure
  • Robust analytical, numerical and organizational skills with ability to prioritize
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work in a multiple stakeholders’ environment
  • Proactive and team player
