We are looking for a Learning & Development Administrator on a 6 - 12 month FTC basis; with excellent administration experience to support the department, business and its employees through a wide range of training courses, delivered both internally and externally.  This is a very busy role with a wide range of responsibilities and tasks happening at once, supporting all areas of the learning & development department which requires an organised and self-motivated individual who likes to prioritise their own workload, and works well with a high volume of detailed tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Complete full administration process of training courses to ensure effective delivery of inductions and internal courses, which will include ensuring delegate lists are up to date, printing of training materials required, training rooms are booked and any other equipment is available and set up.  This will require ownership of the complete booking process from initial request through to post course activities with multiple courses being scheduled at any one time.
  • Ensure pre and post course tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Use the Training Management System to support all training activities
  • Communicate with both trainers, supporting staff, delegates and line managers
  • Manage monthly processes and reporting which are required in order to remain compliant
  • Daily checks to ensure the training rooms are in a satisfactory condition ahead of the next event and prepared as required for the following event
  • Support the training department with administrative tasks when required
  • Data entry and data updates are also required regularly on the Training Management System

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Demonstrate excellent customer services skills along with experience of supporting others with a variety of different enquiries
  • Must demonstrate effective communication, both verbally and written as well as the ability to build effective relationships with all staff and work within a team environment
  • Must be able to prioritise own workload, with a flexible approach and use their initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work to a high standard, with attention to detail and ensuring that outstanding queries and tasks are completed and closed off
  • Experience of working with different systems within one role and accurate use of those systems
