An exciting opportunity to join Cambridge Consultant’s Quantum Algorithm Group in the early days of this rapidly evolving field. Our group seeks to design, implement, and test novel quantum and quantum-inspired algorithms aimed at solving society’s greatest challenges.

What you will do

  • Conduct technical research focused on understanding the "art of the possible” in quantum algorithms and their application to industry challenges
  • Develop prototypes, demos, and proof of concepts for client problems
  • Help Cambridge Consultants showcase its capability, broadening recognition of its technological leadership in this sector

Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant scientific field (Computer Science, Physics, Maths, Engineering or similar)
  • A passion for an aspect of quantum computation, such as quantum algorithms, quantum machine learning or similar
  • Imaginative and inquisitive mind, eager to learn new skills and to develop solutions for interesting and complex problems
  • Good communication and team working skills
