We are looking for an experienced FPGA and Electronics Design engineer who wants to help develop some of the world’s most advanced wireless communication systems.

What we can offer

You will be part of the Digital Systems Group in the Wireless and Digital Services Division. Our work focusses on FPGA, ASIC, and high-performance board-level electronics design, and ranges from high volume consumer applications to aerospace and satellite communications. Giving you the opportunity to further develop your skills in digital electronics, PCB and FPGA design. Examples of our projects are:

The Digital Systems Group works closely with other disciplines to create cutting-edge technology.  Project team sizes tend to be small, giving you lots of responsibility, and you will work with and learn from a team of highly skilled software, signal processing, AI, and RF engineers. As you gain experience you can, if you want, take on technical leadership roles on project teams and contribute to the future technology direction of the department.

What you can bring

You will have a degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related subject. You will also have experience in electronic design and FPGA or ASIC design and verification. 

It would also be great if you had any of the below, but it’s not essential:

  • Technical leadership experience
  • Knowledge of radio frequency systems
