Role Description

Working within the IT Services team, you will liaise with the business to manage our migration to Exchange Online as well as managing other existing Office 365 services including Teams, Yammer and Stream. The role centres around ensuring that the business and projects can communicate and collaborate effectively. 

You will keep up to date with the Office 365 roadmap, implement appropriate changes across the business, drive continuous improvements ensuring good user adoption and support whilst maintaining appropriate data security.

Specific Responsibilities

  • You’ll oversee our Exchange Online environment, including mailboxes, groups, resources, email encryption, signatures, mail flow and support of email clients including Outlook, Outlook on the Web and mobile access
  • Liaising with and managing the migration of user’s mailboxes from Domino to Exchange Online
  • Working with the IT security team to ensure all systems remain up to date and secure, whilst aiding in managing the Email Security systems
  • Be responsible for Teams and other communication / collaboration tools within O365. 
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation
  • Providing high-end technical support as appropriate
  • You’ll have a flexible approach and be willing to provide cover for colleagues in the following areas; Microsoft Device Management (Intune), Active Directory and Azure Active Directory

Minimum Requirements

  • Hands on experience of managing and supporting Office 365 services including Exchange Online
  • Technical knowledge of Office 365, Active Directory, Azure AD practical experience of managing these with PowerShell
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and investigate solutions
  • Willingness to support all areas of the IT services user base as required
  • Excellent communication, documentation and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a small team

It would also be advantageous if you have experience of migrating email from an on-premise solution to a cloud hosted email solution and / or using Binary Tree or Domino. Supporting / implementing BYOD strategies and managing devices through Intune is also something we would be really interested in too.
