This role is strategically important to the company; as Cambridge Consultants (CC) grows, it is critical that we keep employees connected and effectively informed. Due to the nature of our work, it is critical that we can cross fertilise our best practices and technology insights to all our people in all our locations. The role will also be a trusted advisor to our senior executives to help them to shape a positive, diverse, and inclusive culture and ensure everyone lives the shared values that define our organisation. We are looking for someone who can both ‘think and do’ – to create the strategy and work with colleagues across the globe to drive its implementation.

This role is the most senior position in the corporate communications team, which also includes an Employee Engagement & Communications Manager in the USA, a Public Relations Manager, a Social Media Specialist and a Communications coordinator. • Lead the creation and deployment of original bespoke employee engagement programs to enhance employee motivation and support the company brand.
  • Work with our Senior copywriter to develop a narrative to communicate our employee value proposition, our values and our culture. This includes drafting/editing content and developing tactics to convey core messages in the most impactful manner.
  • Measure the effectiveness of internal communications messages and channels on an on-going basis and make recommendations to review/amend the strategy as needed.
  • Develop and manage the company’s employee communications channels to ensure that everyone is informed of organisational news, issues and direction and that we use feedback mechanisms to listen to our people to drive actual improvements to our business.
  • Continually review IT tools and communications channels for employee engagement and communication, measuring effectiveness to ensure they are fit for purpose. Highlight and drive forward actions for improvement, working with internal stakeholders to implement any changes successfully.
