We’re offering you the chance to inspire meaningful change, help transform the fortunes of businesses and make a significant impact on the way people live their lives. As a senior consultant in our strategy, innovation and process group you will be engaging with C-suite clients to help shape the way they capitalise on game-changing technical and commercial insight. Put it this way: you’ll need to feel at home whiteboarding with the CEO.

This is more than a management consulting role. Our team provides strategic advice in the context of technology to enable breakthrough innovation. At your disposal will be our incredible 850-strong team of world-class engineers, designers and support staff – all focused on delivering novel products, services and strategies that disrupt markets and deliver competitive advantage. Sustainability, wellbeing and positive societal change are all key strands of our pioneering work across industrial, consumer and energy sectors. At Cambridge Consultants, astonishing ideas really do become reality.

What we need from you...

You’ll need to show credible technology strategy leadership to identify business opportunities and find a route forward. You’ll be able to convey your knowledge to the rest of the team while you create insights that drive strategic recommendations and deliver commercial success for your clients. You’ll work alongside other business development, project management, technical and business analyst colleagues to manage client accounts and generate new sales.

We’ll expect you to have significant experience in consulting. We apply our consulting skills to a broad range of strategic technology questions, so you’ll be working across diverse technologies, markets and industry sectors. You’ll be utilising market, technology and business consulting methodology to guide the technical team while informing client strategy and investment. You’ll also be using your strong business skills to develop relationships with prospective clients, explore opportunities and personally close substantial sales.

Naturally you’ll be a great communicator with excellent writing, presentation and workshop facilitation skills; a team worker and relationship builder; and someone with a flexible, energetic and constructive approach to challenges. It’s important to us that you have an open, positive attitude and uphold our values of delivering impact while caring for your colleagues.

We have a comprehensive job description to discuss with the right candidate. If you have a good degree in a business or technical field and a successful record in consulting, we’d very much like to hear from you.
